Christmas in July brings summer to Santa's workshop. Designed by Keith Ferguson and illustrated by a team including Andrew Bosley (Everdell), Tomasz Bogusz, Jacob Croft, Jacqui Davis, and Nolan Nasser, this promo expansion flips the seasonality of the base game with an ironic and colorful summer twist.
The table features twelve new summer-themed toy cards (umbrellas, buckets, life rafts) and Vixen, an alternative beach-ready reindeer that enhances the management of promo toys in both family and advanced modes. A small but distinctive set, designed for those who want to bring Christmas even in July.

Il flusso di ogni round (identico al base)
Christmas in July non cambia il flusso di gioco. Aggiunge carte al pool e una renna con abilità nuova.
Come nel gioco base: piazzi i tuoi worker sugli spazi disponibili della bottega. Le nuove carte giocattolo sono obiettivi alternativi da costruire.
Prendi materiali, assembli giocattoli (ora anche estivi), curi le renne (Vixen inclusa) e decoratori l'albero. Meccanica invariata.
Se hai scelto Vixen come renna, attivi la sua abilità speciale quando costruisci giocattoli promo. Ti dà un vantaggio sui toy estivi.
Raccogli gli elfi, ruota il tabellone se previsto, ripeti. Le carte estive restano nel mazzo e cambiano le opzioni disponibili.

Setup con sorpresa
Mescoli le nuove carte nel mazzo. Qualcuno pesca un secchiello da spiaggia e ride. Vixen è lì, con occhiali da sole e costume, pronta a entrare in gioco. L'atmosfera cambia subito.
Prime mosse estive
Qualcuno piazza un elfo per costruire un salvagente. Un altro ruba Vixen e attiva subito la sua abilità sui giocattoli promo. Il tema ironico inizia a funzionare anche a livello tattico.
La renna fa la differenza
Chi ha preso Vixen sta sfruttando i giocattoli estivi meglio degli altri. La sinergia tra renna e carte promo diventa evidente. Gli altri cercano di recuperare con le renne standard.
Il rush finale
Ultimi turni. Le carte estive ancora nel mazzo creano incertezza: chi le pesca può ribaltare, chi non le vede deve adattarsi. Il finale è più aperto rispetto al solo gioco base.
Natale a luglio
Fine partita. Qualcuno ha vinto costruendo ombrelloni e secchielli. Tutti ridono dell'assurdità tematica, ma la partita ha funzionato esattamente come le altre. L'espansione ha fatto il suo lavoro.
