The flashlight illuminates the hallway. The statues weren't there a second ago. George turns around: now there's another one. Someone at the table counts the remaining turns. Someone else hopes the Killer doesn't have that card.
WHAT IT'S ABOUT
The Castle where ancient defenses have become a nightmare
Lethal Immortals is the third expansion of Terrorscape, an asymmetric horror system where Killer and Survivor face off on different maps. Here the battlefield is The Castle, a fortress on a lonely hill where sentient statues form a collective mind called The Statues. Artwork by Arepko, a series signed by Ice Makes and distributed by international publishers including Asmodee, Galakta, Grimspire.
At the table, one player controls The Statues, a hive mind that moves as one through claustrophobic corridors and deadly rooms. On the other side is George Carpenter, an intelligent and brave professor who must use knowledge and cunning to survive. The game alternates hidden movement, tactical positioning, and skill card management in a hunt where the Castle itself is an accomplice to the Killer. Every turn changes the balance: Statues appear where they weren't before, George searches for items and escape routes as time runs out.

What you find in the box
Components that build the nightmare
8 The Statues miniatures
Two sets of 4 identical statues: the hive mind physically manifests on the board. When you see one, the others could be anywhere.
George Carpenter (miniature + board)
A professor with a brilliant mind and cool head. His Survivor board tracks health, collected items, and special knowledge-based abilities.
13 Killer ability cards
The Statues' deck: abilities that exploit coordinated movement, Castle traps, and pincer attacks. Each card changes how you hunt.
Double-sided Castle boards
Castle map for Killer and Survivor: same location, different information. Narrow corridors, deadly rooms, hidden mechanisms printed in the layout.

🎲How to playThe rules in four steps▼
How to play
The flow of each round
Terrorscape alternates Survivor turns and Killer turns in an asymmetrical structure where each has different objectives and actions.
George moves on his map (the Killer doesn't see where he goes) and performs an action: explore a room, collect an item, use a special ability. He declares what he does, and the Killer reacts by revealing or not revealing the present Statues.
The Killer moves the Statues on his map (George doesn't see). He can place miniatures on the shared board if the Statues enter the Survivor's line of sight. Each Statue coordinates with the others: it's a single mind.
If the Survivor and Killer occupy the same area, an attack is triggered. The Killer plays ability cards to boost the Statues, George uses items and defenses to survive. Damage inflicted is marked on the health sheet.
Each round checks: Has George completed the objective (escape, survive X turns, collect items)? Have the Statues eliminated him? If not, a new round. Tension builds until the finale.

A game in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
Setup and first move
George enters the Castle. The Killer secretly places the Statues on his map. The first exploration: no visible danger, but everyone knows it's just an appearance. Tension starts from zero and immediately rises.
First sighting
George turns the corner and the Killer places the first Statue miniature on the board. Silence at the table. Now it's real: the hunt has begun. George must decide whether to flee or still search for the item in that room.
Hunting in the corridors
The Statues move as a single mind: one appears here, two block the exit, a fourth cuts off the escape route. George uses ability cards and collected items to escape. Each turn is a tactical puzzle where making a mistake costs health.
The turning point
George finds the key item or the Killer plays the devastating ability card. One of the two has the decisive advantage. The other must change plans, now. Spectators are already betting on who will win.
Escape or capture
George runs towards the exit or falls under the final assault of the Statues. The Killer reveals the last cards or sees the Survivor escape by a hair's breadth. End of game: immediate rematch or role change.

Three things to keep in mind
You need the Terrorscape system (or the willingness to learn it)
This is expansion #3. Technically it's standalone (it contains everything needed to play), but if you don't already know Terrorscape, you'll need to learn the basic rules of the asymmetrical system. It's not complex (weight 2/5), but it's not plug-and-play like a party game. First game: 60-90 minutes with the rulebook in hand.
Fixed map, replayability in cards
The Castle is a map, always the same. Variability comes from the 13 Killer ability cards, the initial setup, and tactical choices, not from a modular board. After 10-15 games, you'll know every corridor: for some, it's a strength (tactical mastery), for others, a limitation.
Optimal balance in 2, scales in 3-4
The 1v1 asymmetrical core of the game works very well. In 3-4 players (Survivor team or role rotation) the pace changes and the balance may require adjustments. It's not broken, but the intended experience is that of a duel.
🏆Victory and DefeatWhat the ending rewards▼
How it ends
How to win and how to lose
Terrorscape is pure asymmetrical: Killer and Survivor have different objectives and opposing victory conditions.
Survivor Victory (George)
- Reach the Castle exit with at least 1 health point
- Complete the scenario objective (variable: collect X items, survive Y turns, etc.)
- Resist until the Killer deck runs out (if provided by the scenario)
Killer Victory (The Statues)
- Reduce George's health to zero through coordinated attacks
- Prevent the Survivor from reaching the objective within the turn limit
- Block all escape routes and force George to surrender
Terrorscape: Lethal Immortals is working asymmetrical horror, with real tension, evocative miniatures, and a claustrophobic map that does its job. If you're looking for a tactical 1v1 duel with a strong theme, it's here.

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ about Terrorscape: Lethal Immortals
Do I need the Terrorscape base game to play Lethal Immortals?
No, technically it's standalone: it contains everything (boards, Killer and Survivor miniatures, cards, rules). However, if you've never played Terrorscape, you'll have to learn the asymmetrical system from scratch. The rules are not heavy (weight 2/5), but it's still a tactical hunt game, not a filler. If you own other Terrorscape expansions, you can mix scenarios and Killers.
What is the difference between this expansion and the other Terrorscape expansions?
Each expansion brings a new map and a new Killer with unique mechanics. Lethal Immortals introduces The Castle (claustrophobic corridors, deadly rooms) and The Statues as a hive mind that moves in coordination. George Carpenter is the exclusive Survivor in this box, with abilities related to intelligence and knowledge. Setting: gothic horror from a cursed fortress.
Does it work well with 3-4 players or is it only designed for 2?
The optimal experience is the 1v1 duel Killer vs. Survivor. With 3-4 players, you can play with Survivor teams (multiple people control George or multiple Survivors) or in rotation, but the original balance is calibrated for the duel. It's not broken with more players, it just changes pace and intensity. If you're looking for pure group asymmetrical, other titles do better.
What mechanics does Terrorscape: Lethal Immortals use?
Hidden movement on asymmetrical maps, management of ability cards, tactical miniature placement, conflict resolution via cards and dice. The Killer and the Survivor have different boards of the same map: each sees different information and plans in secret. When they cross paths, the confrontation is revealed and resolved. Action point system for the Survivor, coordinated collective movement for the Statues.
Is Lethal Immortals available in Italian?
The edition sold on FroGames is in English. The game includes rulebook, Killer ability cards, and Survivor sheets in English. The language dependence is medium: you need to read the ability cards (mechanical rather than narrative text) and the rulebook. Once the cards are learned, the game flows smoothly. Currently, no official Italian editions have been published.
