🃏 Ace of Spades Revised Edition: Devir Updates the Game (Official Announcement)

Publisher: Devir Iberia • Update on BGG forum • 17 December

✅ Official 🛠️ Revised Edition

Devir says distribution of Ace of Spades had been put on hold after finding that some illustrations did not meet their editorial standards. In the following months they carried out a complete review of the visual content, alongside external cultural consultants with expertise in various historical and cultural contexts.

The outcome is a Revised Edition with six redesigned cards : the stated goal is preserve the tone and identity of the board game, while eliminating elements that could be inappropriate or insensitive . Devir adds that this experience has led to concrete improvements in future editorial processes (earlier review on sensitive topics, clearer documentation, regular consultations when necessary).

🐸 Because this is important news Now there is a clear direction: Devir talks about a spring release with the updated version, along with the first expansion.
