The FroGames Card
Write 'moon' for planets and someone actually does. Read 'penguin' for flying birds and you win a point. Stop thinking about the game and start thinking about the table.
WHAT IT'S ABOUT
How well do you know the room?
Gamely Ltd is a small team from Brighton specializing in party games that focus on shared laughter and surprising mechanics. Awesome Foursome arrives in 2026 as their latest experiment in the genre of simultaneous writing with a social twist.
Each round gives you a category. You need to write four different answers: one that everyone will write (popular), one that only one other player will write (telepathic), one that only you will write (unique), and one that is technically wrong but someone will write anyway (perfectly wrong). You win points when you guess what others are thinking, when no one guesses you, and when you are wrong in the right way.
What they say abroad
Awesome Foursome presents itself as an experiment in reading the table and standing out from it. Four ways to score, four ways to think. Card based on official information: we will update with the game on the table.

What's inside
Four ways to score, four ways to think
Popular
Write the answer everyone will write. Match = point. The obvious answer is not always the most popular.
Telepathic
Write an answer that only one other player will write. Match = point. You have to think like someone, not like everyone.
Unique
Write an answer no one else will write. If you're the only one = point. Originality on demand.
Perfectly wrong
Write a technically wrong answer that someone else will write. Match = point. 'Penguin' for flying birds.
🎲How to playThe rules in four steps▼
How to play
The flow of each round
A round lasts two minutes: read, write, reveal, score.
One player draws and reads a category card aloud. Everyone hears it at the same time.
Everyone writes four answers on their card: popular, psychic, unique, perfectly wrong. Limited or free time depending on the group.
Everyone turns over their cards simultaneously. Read the answers aloud and compare matches for each type.
Each match is worth one point. Unique is worth one point only if no one else wrote the same answer. After four rounds, the player with the most points wins.

A game in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
The category is already funny
Someone reads the category aloud. 'Planets of the solar system'. Someone says 'easy', someone else is already laughing. You're already thinking about the four answers and realize that you can't write Mars four times.
Everyone writes in silence
Paper and pen, fifteen seconds of absolute silence. Someone writes very fast, someone erases, someone stares at the ceiling. The tension is low but the curiosity is very high: what are they writing?
Reveal and match
Everyone turns over their cards. Read the answers aloud and discover the matches. 'Jupiter' for popular: five people. 'Moon' for perfectly wrong: two people who are wrong together and win a point for being wrong well.
Someone wrote 'Pluto'
No one else wrote Pluto. Unique match, point earned. A three-minute discussion follows about whether Pluto is still a planet. The game didn't ask, but the table always does.
Four rounds, final count
After four rounds, count the points. Someone won by thinking like the group, someone by standing out, someone by being wrong better than others. You don't remember the exact score but you remember who wrote 'moon'.
🐸What to know beforehandThree honest things, from friends▼
What to know beforehand
Three things to know
Depends on the table
The game works if the group knows each other a little or is willing to discover each other by playing. With perfect strangers, psychic prediction is random and scoring loses meaning. It's not a flaw, it's a feature: it's a game that helps you get to know the table.
You need paper and pen
There are no boards or complex components: each player writes on paper. If you don't have markers or reusable sheets, prepare enough paper. Four rounds = at least four sheets per person.
Scoring can get tricky
With large groups (8+ players), keeping track of matches becomes chaotic. The mechanics hold up, but counting requires attention or a dedicated player. Some tables forgo scoring and play just for laughs.
🏆Victory and defeatWhat the ending rewards▼
How it ends
How to win and how to lose
The player with the most points after four rounds wins.
Victory
- Every popular, psychic, or perfectly wrong match is worth 1 point
- Every unique answer (no one else wrote it) is worth 1 point
- After four rounds, the player with the most points wins
Losing points
- No popular matches = 0 points for that answer
- No psychic matches = 0 points for that answer
- Unique answer also written by others = 0 points
- Perfectly wrong answer without a match = 0 points
Awesome Foursome promises to be the party game that asks you to think like the group and distinguish yourself from it at the same time. The perfectly wrong answer twist is rare in the genre.

FAQ about Awesome Foursome
What mechanics does Awesome Foursome use?
Simultaneous writing, social prediction, and match scoring. Each player writes four answers for each category, trying to guess what others will write (for some answer types) or to stand out completely (for others). The central mechanic is reading the table.
Does it work with fewer than 5 players?
The game starts with 3 players, but with low numbers (3-4) psychic prediction and perfectly wrong matches become more random. The game scales better with 5-8 players: enough to have variety in answers, not so many as to make counting chaotic.
How important is it to already know each other?
It matters, but it's not mandatory. If the group knows each other, psychic prediction becomes more interesting. If they are strangers, the game becomes a way to discover who thinks like you. It works in both cases, but with different expectations.
Does it get old after a few games?
It depends on the variety of categories and the composition of the table. If you always play with the same group, prediction becomes easier and the twist wears off. With changing tables or fresh categories, replayability remains high. This is the classic risk of party games of this type.
Is it available in Italian?
The edition sold on FroGames is in English. The cards contain categories written in English. The game requires understanding of the language to read the categories and write the answers.
The people behind the game
Who invented it, who designed it, who publishes it — and what else they've done.
